A researcher in pedagogics discovered text from his/her doctoral dissertation in a publication drawn up in cooperation between a university and a commercial business.
The researcher made an RCR notification. The university concluded, however, that it was not competent to process the case as the author of the publication in question was not a member of university personnel.
The researcher then requested a statement from TENK. TENK concluded that the university had acted in accordance with RCR guidelines when dismissing the case.
